The Grant County 9-1-1 Center was established on October 31, 2007. Centralized emergency communications dispatch (also known as Grant Com) was established July 1, 1984 by the Grant County Commission with the assistance of the Grant County Emergency Services Advisory Board.
The staff of the Grant County 911 Center proudly serves the citizens of Grant County 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The staff members are highly trained professionals with many hours of classroom and on-site training. All employees meet and exceed State and Federal training requirements.
This office handles dispatch for 4 fire departments, 2 emergency medical service agencies, and 6 police agencies. Our goal is to provide courteous, efficient service to all callers at all times. More than 10,000 emergency calls per year are handled by our staff and the volume of calls has been increasing every year.
